Customer Executive/Internal Sales - to service and expand existing client portfolio

Position: Customer Executive/Inside Sales -  to service and expand existing client portfolio
Location: Utrecht
International travel: 10% - 20%

Reporting line: Manager Customer Success

Your role is to service and expand the needs and requirements of Cycleon’s existing client portfolio. Delivering the Cycleon returns services and solutions according to agreed standards. You are working closely together with Customer Support and Account Managers to ensure quality of service delivered continuously, and to nurture and grow revenue with your existing client portfolio. You take pride in delivering best in class customer care services for your customers, being the prime contact for your clients.

Your focus:

  • Client retention: improving client satisfaction and retention by delivering best in class customer care, by effectively and efficiently handling calls, queries and respond to your customer's requests. Proactively informing clients on new services available and keeping them up to date on our performance. 

  • Continuous engagement with your clients through formal monthly and/ or quarterly business reviews to make sure both parties are fully informed. Actively monitoring and proactively reporting the quality of the process, conducting general and customer specific analyses and reports. Managing changes requested and new services to be implemented for your clients.

  • Relationship building: growing and maintaining long-term relationships with (y)our international key clients. You want to know your clients’ needs and requirements in full and you understand what really matters to your clients’ organization. 

  • Growing the business: whilst building the relation with your client you introduce new services and solutions applicable. Together with the Account Managers you are preparing, coordinating and developing new value propositions as a team, targeted at different departmental heads at the client side. You are coordinating the bid processes internally and developing tailor-made client solutions.  

  • Analyses and presentations: you are strong on the analytics side, factual and numbers driven, a critical thinker – challenging the status-quo and a true initiator with clear ownership. You can translate your analyses in face-to-face client presentations. 

  • Team player: encourage collaboration, develop and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of our organization; ensuring clear communication with stakeholders in Operations, IT, Sales, Finance, etc. Communicating timely relevant deadlines and escalations. 

Your talents:

  • University degree or Bachelor’s with commercial studies, sales with 1-3 years’ experience in an international sales team.

  • You are commercially focused, you’re asking the right questions to understand the true reason for customer queries and needs to respond with the desired solution.

  • You are analytically strong to assess and interpret data and come up with the best approach. You have an eye for detail, the ability to prioritize and you respect agreed timelines.

  • Nowadays you need to be Tech savvy, to understand and explain the underlying systems and integrations to manage complex reverse logistics processes and tailored client demand.

  • You are a confident presenter who can communicate easily complex subjects with both internal teams and external partners.

  • You are self-starting, embracing responsibility and ownership, with lots of initiative and passion for what you do and what your client wants.

  • You master excellent business English both verbally and written.
