RLG colleagues run for charity at the Wings for Life - World Run

Seven  of the RLG's Munich office colleagues - among them RLG-CEO Patrick Wiedemann - attended in May a special running event: the Wings for Life World Run.
The movement took place in 33 countries and 34 locations worldwide on May 8 and made 130 732 participants to start running at the same time while their common goal was not a designated distance but to collect as much funds as possible for the Wings For Life Foundation. Thus, everyone could set his or her own running goals - the best among them run over 88km.

The Wings for Life Foundation's aim is to find a cure for spinal cord injury and therefore funds scientific research and clinical trials on healing the injured spinal cord. In course of this year's event a sum of 6.6 million euros has been collected on behalf of start fees and other donations.
