JUUL Labs, US no. 1 e-cigarette company partners up with Cycleon for their returns

JUUL Labs,  the most popular e-cigarette company in the US with a market share of 72%, asked Cycleon to optimize their returns process in Europe, starting in the UK. In July our return services for JUUL went live.

Last month we implemented the returns process as requested by JUUL. In the returns process of JUUL Labs the end-consumer calls the JUUL Labs call center, who then creates a return label request through the Cycleon OrderService API. In response the return label is sent to JUUL who then forwards it the their customer. After which three return flows are possible:

  • The consumer drops off the parcel at a Royal Mail drop-off point. The parcel is then shipped to our RRC in Northampton before it’s forwarded to the ERC in Germany and where it then gets scrapped by a recycling organization
  • The consumer drops off the parcel at a Royal Mail drop-off point. The parcel is then shipped to our RRC in Northampton before it’s forwarded to the ERC. The parcel is then forwarded to a JUUL Labs facility in Europe
  • For the medical flow, a UPS pick-up solution is implemented. UPS ships the parcel directly to the ERC. The parcel is then forwarded to a JUUL Labs facility in the USA

After successful roll-out in the UK, JUUL Labs has plans to roll-out the Cycleon return solution in other EU countries: Germany, France, Portugal, Spain and Ireland.
